WEST HOLLYWOOD'S MIXER & BBQ

In the middle of West Hollywood, on Santa Monica Blvd (just east of Fairfax) is a small hardware store with a big presence. Tashman Screens & Hardware, Inc. has been family owned and operated since 1961 and the owner, Kenny Tashman, has been heavily involved in the West Hollywood community. He even serves on the West Hollywood Project Area committee, promoting events and businesses in the West Hollywood area. So it's little wonder why Tashman's turned out to be the perfect location to host the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce mixer!

The Largest Mixer attended this family-style, backyard barbecue on July 25. Kenny Tashman was a wonderful host to the business people in his community, opening up his doors and firing up his grill to give us all a chance to mix and mingle and generally have a great time meeting one another.

The Largest Mixer would like to give a special shout out to Dominique Williams and Teri Maher from the West Hollywood Chamber Team for all the time and effort they put into making their chamber events so much fun to attend!

LARGEST MIXER AT CULVEREXPO 2008!

The Largest Mixer headed over to Culver City for a friendly, festive, outdoor business networking event known as CulverExpo 2008, produced by the Culver City Chamber of Commerce

Many interesting and unique businesses flocked to the beautiful lawn of the Media Park/Ivy Substation, filling the air with friendly chatter, laughter and the delicious smell of the food samples provided by Chipotle Mexican Grill, among others.

So kudos to Culver City Chamber President/CEO Steven Rose and his staff for organizing another fantastic Expo!

MIXERS, MINGLING & MARGARITAS AT THE MARRIOTT

Last night the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce joined up with the Latino Coalition to host the "Business After Hours Poolside Mixer." Of course the Largest Mixer attended the event- we couldn't pass up the opportunity to network while sipping Margarita's poolside at the Los Angeles Marriott Downtown!

The event was well attended and a lot of fun. "The Los Angeles chamber put on a great event," raved Amy Leslie, Event Coordinator for the Largest Mixer. "The food was
amazing, they had a white chocolate fountain to dip yummy fruit, pupusa's and shrimp! And it was at a fabulous location." Plus the addition of a festive mariachi band made this mixer one to remember.

We want to thank the LA Chamber, the Latino Coalition and the sponsors of the event, Image Direct and the Los Angeles Marriott Downtown, for putting on such a spectacular event.

"The Las Vegas Chamber, once again, produced another great Expo for the community," said Dave Linden, Event Producer for the Largest Mixer. "We are proud to be members of such a fantastic business organization."
