Inland Empire's Largest Mixer Unites 25 Chambers of Commerce and Business Organizations For Its Biggest Turnout Ever

Networking Event Of The Season – 3rd Annual Inland Empire’s Largest Mixer® produces record turnout of over 2200 business professionals

Business networking shifted into high gear with Inland Empire’s Largest Mixer III®, bringing together local businesses representing hundreds of industries and companies in the Inland Empire.

The goal of Inland Empire’s Largest Mixer III® is to encourage membership in one or several chambers of commerce, allowing businesses to grow based on a wider network of support. The mixer also provides a chance for businesses to network with one another for mutual support. Businesses and individuals do not have to be affiliated with a chamber to attend the Mixer.

The Mixer featured 210 exhibitors and an impressive list of local sponsors who share a common goal of business outreach and networking. This year, 2200 business people attended the third annual Inland Empire’s Largest Mixer®. Santa Ana Business Alliance features Dave Linden as Guest Speaker of the Business Alliance Speaker Series

Yesterday, the Largest Mixer's very own Dave Linden guest spoke at the Business Alliance Speaker Series. Hosted by the Greater Santa Ana Business Alliance, the event was entitled "How to Make Your Booth Sizzle." As the title suggests, Dave spoke about the various dos and don'ts about how to really make your expo booth visible and get the most exposure possible.

A few highlights from the speech:
1) Have a goal. Whether it's to grab 100 business cards, sign up 25 people to your e-newsletter, or whatever it may be, having a goal that you can actively try and meet during the event keeps both you and your employees more engaged throughout the entire process.
2) Have a hook AKA The Showstopper. Why are people going to want to come to your booth? Make sure you have something that everyone walking the floor will want to search down your booth for.
3) Dress the part. Don't necessarily feel obligated to wear a suit for the day. Even though we're in the business of doing business, the mixer is also about having fun. Maybe you could wear some clothes that feature your company's logo? Or maybe you could even have costume clothes to grab attention. Whatever you decide to wear though, make sure that it's a good reflection of your company.

Just a few of the people that we ran into were Warren Hoffnung, CEO of My Wrapper, Barry V. Fidel of Cards From Barry, and Grace Manzano, Director of Operations of California Dental Group.

We'd like to extend a special thanks to Nancy Sandoval for putting together a great event!

Hilton Ontario Airport Hosts Inland Empire's Largest Mixer III's VIP Kick-Off Event

Yesterday, the Largest Mixer threw its VIP Kick-Off Event for Inland Empire's Largest Mixer III. Hosted by the Hilton Ontario Airport, the event drew in over 100 sponsors and exhibitors of the upcoming mixer on October 22 for an exclusive night of networking. As the Hilton Ontario Airport was recently renovated, the venue itself was spectacular (as I've already mentioned before in a previous post but wanted to reiterate because the venue really is just that great!). Crab cakes, beef sliders, dim sum, and hand carved beef wellington were just a sampling of the fantastic spread of food that the Hilton provided.

In addition to the wide variety of delectable treats, the VIP Kick-Off Event also featured a business card drawing giveaway. The giveaway prizes were a two night stay at the Hilton Ontario Airport, a two night stay at the Avi Resort and Casino, and a See's Candy care package. The winners of the giveaway were (in no particular order) Ben Cotton, Regional Director of LeTip, Gene Pearlman, Vice President of Advertising of the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, Patrick Smith, Account Executive of Canon Business Solutions, Diana Aghili, Account Executive of El Clasificado, Linda Jackson, Branch Officer Manager of NID Housing Counseling Agenecy, and Brian McNerney, President/CEO of the La Verne Chamber of Commerce. We'd like to congratulate all of our lucky winners, and also thank everyone who graciously donated giveaway prizes.Attendees of the VIP Kick-Off all received a chance to visit the booths and network with Farmers Insurance Group, KTIE-AM, eTicketFarm, Brian Goodwin of Health Markets, LocalSplash.com, Press Enterprise/Business Press, Daily Bulletin/The Sun/Redlands Daily Facts, Hilton Ontario Airport, Four Quick Clicks, Inland Empire Business Journal, and TEAM Referral Network.

We'd like to give a special thanks to Neil Poisson and Bette Gill of the Hilton Ontario Airport and Mike Ponce of Farmers Insurance being such integral parts of making this event a success.

Even if you missed out on our kick-off event, the feature presentation (the mixer itself!) is taking place on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Ontario Convention Center from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Look to our "Grab It" Box on the right hand side of this website to pull up the application to see what fantastic opportunities are waiting for you, or visit our website.
