Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce Monthly Mixer held at the breath taking Back Bay Bistro located at the Newport Dunes.

The Largest Mixer attended Newport Beach Chamber's monthly mixer last night, held at the beautifully renovated Back Bay Bistro. As the sun was setting, you were able to view 180 degrees of the bay, and with shrimp and mashed potatoes on the menu it was the start to something great. Let the mixing begain.

Some of the people we met were Christina Becker from Citi Smith Barney, Scott DeFreitas from D2 Business Solutions, Bob Kimmerle, an Ambassador for the chamber, as well as Leigh Smidebush from Duffy Electric Boat Company, Tom Kaiser from Anthem Blue Cross and Kaiser Insurance Agent, and Randy Lodge Sales Manager for the Newport Dunes Special Events.

We would like to thank Pam Smith, Member Service Director, for the Newport Chamber for this amazing mixer. It was a beautiful night to say the least. And Susan Greene, Back Bay Restaurant Manager, as everything was spectacular.

Buena Park Chamber's 2nd Annual Tri-City Business 2 Business Expo

Last night, the Largest Mixer attended the Buena Park Chamber's 2nd Annual Tri-City Business 2 Business mixer. Held at the lovely La Mirada Golf Course Clubhouse, the Buena Park Chamber out did themselves with the amount of business that attended. With everything from a DJ playing music in the background, to a traveling magician there were so many people to speak with, you didn't know where to start.

Some of the minglers we mixed with were Jo-Anne Hohensee of University of Phoneix, Christopher Pierson of Union Bank of California, Teresa Castro of Mary Kay Cosmetics, Natasha Kaiserman of Cosmetic Laser Institute, and Demian Ross of the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce.

We'd like to thank the Buena Park Chamber as well as the La Mirada Golf Course Clubhouse for hosting a spectacular event.

OC Fair & Event Center/Ovations Hosts OC Mixer VI VIP Kick-off Event

With Orange County’s Largest Mixer VI just weeks away, the VIP kickoff event held this past Wednesday OC Fair & Event Center’s Baja Blues restaurant served as the perfect springboard to help usher in the fast approaching Mixer.

Exhibitors and sponsors alike had the opportunity to meet one another, receive important information regarding the upcoming mixer, and get a head start towards a networking extravaganza.

For the 5th year in a row, the Orange County’s VIP kickoff event was held at Baja Blues, and for the 5th year in a row, the staff at Ovations (the company that handles catering at the OC Fair & Event Center) showed the staff at the Largest Mixer exactly why we keep coming back for more. The food selection that was served up was second-to-none and included a carving station, finger foods and chocolate fountain for dipping fruit.

Many thanks to our kick-off event sponsors: OC Fair & Event Center, Ovations, United States Postal Service, Barona Valley Ranch & Casino, Pinnacle Dental and 790 KABC.

Among the dozens of exhibitors in attendance were Moustache Mike’s Italian Ice, Poverello Coffee, Smart Levels Media Trade American Card, Orange County Resource Guide, Orange County Register, and TEAM Referral Network. Advent Visual, a proud Largest Mixer sponsor, didn't disappoint in the decorations department when it came to the balloon columns that they set up for the event.

Right before our big grand prize (two tickets at an upcoming Dodger game in the 790 KABC suite), we were pleased to have the publisher of the Orange County Register, Terry Horne, address the attendees.

A very special to Juan Quintero and Ernie Navar of Ovations and the folks at the OC Fair & Event Center. Without their help and support, the kick-off event would truly not have been possible. On behalf of the Largest Mixer staff, you should really consider hosting one of your own events, or maybe even your company's holiday parties there. We guarantee you that they won't disappoint.

Now, it’s on to March 11, 2009, where Orange County’s Largest Mixer VI takes over buildings 10 and 12 at the OC Fair & Event Center, for a business networking event that Orange County will be talking about for years to come…or at least next year when we do it again!

Irvine Chamber's February Mixer at Tia Juana's Long Bar & Grill Proudly Sponsored by Orange County's Largest Mixer

Largest Mixer Events joined Chase Paymentech as sponsors of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce's February Business After Hours this past Thursday. Held at Tia Juana's Long Bar & Grill in Irvine, the Chamber brought out a great crowd to mix and mingle at the former lima bean warehouse of the late 1800s.

Located in Old Towne Irvine, and celebrating over 20 years in business, Tia Juana's features authentic Mexican cooking, fresh seafood and the largest selection of tequila in the OC.

We bumped into Largest Mixer past participants Sherry Metcalfe of ShredWise and Debbie Gleason of Money Mailer - Irvine along with Todd Johnson of Home Run and Priscilla Givens of Rolling Mobile Ads.

As always, another great networking opportunity in Irvine thanks to Linda Benjamin and her chamber staff. The next Irvine Chamber Business After Hours is March 19 at Phans55 Vietnamese Bistro and Bar, 6000 Scholarship in Irvine.
