Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce Flying High at the Trapeze School on the Santa Monica Pier

The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce was flying high last night for its May business mixer at the Trapeze School on the Santa Monica Pier (which by the way will celebrate its Centennial on September 9!)

The Trapeze School is dedicated to making flying trapeze available to anyone who seeks inspiration, challenge, fitness or just a couple hours of unique fun. Their mission is to create a safe, fun, challenging environment where their students strive to surpass limitations and more richly enjoy their lives.

Amongst the 75 attendees, we mixed and mingled with Maisha Hart of LP Staffing/Legal Plus AgencyBen Franz-Knight of the Santa Monica Pier, and Richard Clayman of Cloudwalker Videoworks.

Whole Foods Market was on hand with a delectable cheese platter, antipasto, fresh fruit and veggies.

Don't miss the Chamber's next event: Installation Dinner 2009 where the Chamber installs the Board of Directors, holds a phenomenal auction, and gives attendees a chance to rub elbows with the area's most prominent business leaders, June 11 at The Fairmont Miramar Hotel.   Visit www.smchamber.com for more information or call (310) 393-9825.

710 ESPN Joins Annual Los Angeles Area Business Expo/Mixer Event As Exclusive Radio Media Partner

L.A.’s Largest Mixer®, Southern California’s Ultimate Business Networking Event, proudly welcomes 710 ESPN Radio (KSPN 710 AM) as the event’s exclusive radio media sponsor for L.A.’s Largest Mixer XI, July 23, 2009 at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center in Los Angeles.

"Our partnership embodies a dual role. The Largest Mixer is a great place to market the station. It allows us to reach out to educated business people and attract new listenership,” explains Matt Mallon, General Sales Manager for 710 ESPN. “This year, it will also serve as a platform from which we can raise awareness about our role as the official broadcasting station for the Los Angeles Lakers games. Conversely, ESPN is a vehicle to start and grow businesses, and we look forward to partnering with Mixer participants to do just that.”

L.A.’s Largest Mixer is an annual event that brings together local business organizations and Los Angeles area chambers of commerce for an evening of professional networking and business outreach. As the event’s exclusive radio media partner, 710 ESPN will also offer “710 ESPN Packages” to event exhibitors interested in expanding their marketing efforts.

"We are extremely pleased to welcome 710 ESPN to the team behind L.A.’s Largest Mixer XI,” comments Dave Linden, Event Producer for the Largest Mixer events. “I believe the station will draw attendees from a new demographic, one which we’re very excited to have represented at our event.”

710 ESPN is one of five ESPN “owned-and-operated” radio stations in the Country.  They are also the play-by-play home of USC Football along with the future home of the Los Angeles Lakers starting with the 2009-10 season.

A resounding success for the past ten years, the much-heralded event’s format has been reproduced in other regions, including Orange County, Inland Empire and Las Vegas. 710 ESPN will also be a media sponsor for the Inland Empire and Orange County events. Largest Mixer events are produced by The Dave Linden Group, Inc.
