Jewish Chamber Throws a Mixer at the Historic Roosevelt Hotel

Last night the Jewish Chamber, and L.A. Mixer sponsor, hosted a mixer at the historic Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. An intimate crowd showed up poolside to enjoy drinks and delicious Hors d'oeuvres, coordinated by the enthusiastic and charming Kelly Turner, Senior Catering & Events Manager.

One of the best parts of the evening was that Kelly and his lovely team gave us tours around the Hotel to check out some of it's historic features, after all, it was the original home to the Academy Awards. The Roosevelt Hotel is even a no fly zone!

Great job Jeff Gurman on a successful mixer!

Ontario Chamber's 50th Annual Police Recognition Luncheon

Today was Ontario Chamber's 50th Annual Police Recognition Luncheon at the Doubletree Hotel, and we were there proudly supporting the men and women of the Ontario Police Department who keep the community safe. Cindy Carpenter, Chair of the Ontario Chamber Board, welcomed us to the luncheon, which was hosted by Greg Mills of Channel 2. Even Mayor Leon was there to support the Police Department and offer a few remarks.

After lunch, Chief Eric Hopley presented a number of awards to the Officers for Unit Excellence and Individual Excellence, among others. We could go on and on about this great event, but we'll let these snapshots do the talking. Thank you Ontario Chamber for producing this annual event which honors those in service to our community!

LAPN Networking Mixer & Launch Party Takes Over Hollywood at Falcon Restaurant

Los Angeles Professional Network (LAPN) held its May Networking Mixer last Friday at Falcon Restaurant on Sunset Blvd. Sunset Boulevard was a buzz as the crowd filled one of Hollywood’s most sought after night spots. We knew this was an event to be at.

The night also served as a Launch Party for House of UCE and as fundraiser for Foundation for Second Chances, Inc. All in all, it was a fantastic event, we met lots of great people, and Falcon Restaurant has acquired a new fan. Thank you Ken Billups and Jeremy White (LAPN) for hosting this great event for a good cause!
