Good Morning Long Beach! Breakfast with Judge James Otto

It was a very informative morning at the Long Beach Chamber's "Good Morning Long Beach" networking breakfast.

Held at the elegant Grand Event Center, members and guests listened to the Honorable Judge James Otto of the on the public. At Largest Mixer® we love networking breakfasts, but especially one like this one, which keeps us informed on the happenings in our community. John Howard of Chick-fil-A at Long Beach Town Center was the MC of the morning and sent us all home with a take home bag. Thank you Long Beach Chamber for a great event!

Studio City Mixer at The Daily Grill

Yes, we were at another great event this week! The Studio City Chamber held their April Networking Mixer at The Daily Grill on Ventura. Kevin of the Daily Grill was the perfect host. What awaited the chamber members was a buffet of great fruit and vegetables, the famous Daily Grill Spinach Artichoke Dip, and refreshing beverages. Oh, yes! and those cookies.

With spring in the air and the sun setting in the west the second floor was the place to be to meet and mingle with Studio City Chamber members and potential Chamber members over wine and hors d'oeuvres. Thanks Studio City Chamber!

Pasadena Chamber's Business Mixer at Margarita's

Last night's mixer with Pasadena Chamber at Margarita's was a nice cozy evening of meeting new people and sharing ideas. Many people mentioned their love of the local Mexican food spot, where we met, and sure enough, it was a very welcoming place. It's no wonder folks keep coming back!

The great part about the mixer was learning about everyone's businesses, especially since many were devoted to helping others improve their own. I am sure that fruitful connections were made.

Thanks to Paul Little and Kelli Shearer at the Pasadena Chamber, and also to all the friends we made, for a great night.

Perk-up Pico Rivera Networking Breakfast at The Salsa Grill

It was a perky morning at Pico Rivera Chamber's "Perk-Up-Pico Rivera Networking Breakfast" hosted by The Salsa Grill.

The Salsa Grill has been a local favorite for years, and we were excited to try their famous "Cinnamon Coffee" this morning, along with the other delicious choices they provided. Visit The Salsa Grill's website for a list of $4 breakfasts available everyday.

This breakfast mixer was a fun change in pace, as we started the morning by networking and getting to know other business folks before settling down to enjoy breakfast. The atmosphere was a lot of fun, and we met some wonderful new folks that we hope to add to our Largest Mixer® family. Below are Chamber President, Alexander Saulus and The Salsa Grill Owner, Jess Zapien.

Congratulations Melanie Coward and the entire Pico Rivera Chamber team, and thank you for a bright-eyed and joyful Tuesday morning. Looking forward to the next one!

Long Beach Chamber Mixer with a Cause

We had a blast last night at Long Beach Chamber's Mixer with a Cause which honored "two fallen marines." The Laugh Factory hosted a night of comedy, while Cops 4 Causes organized a tribute for two American Heroes. Robert J. Cottle, an LAPD SWAT officer and a Sergeant Major with the United States Marine Corps, and Marine Lance Corporal Rick J. Centanni, both killed while supporting combat operations in Afghanistan.
Stand-up comedian Tommy Davidson was featured, providing an evening of laughter with his great comedy act, enhancing the celebration of the lives of these two honorable men.
Outback Steakhouse Long Beach generously provided Aussie-tizers®, which were so wonderful that I am hungry just remembering! My favorites: Alice Springs Chicken Quesadilla® and the Ribeye. We at Largest Mixer® felt very welcome, and we are thankful for the generosity of Laugh Factory Long Beach, Outback Steakhouse, and the Long Beach Chamber. Our best wishes go out to the families of these two fallen public servants.

Miracle Mile Chamber's Monthly Luncheon at Tandoori

The week is not yet over, but here at Largest Mixer® we've been out and about all week meeting new business folks and seeing old friends. Today we were at Miracle Mile Chamber's Monthly Luncheon at India's Tandoori on Wilshire.
While enjoying our lovely Indian buffet lunches, we opened our ears to Guest Speaker Ben Cooke of Lucid Public Relations, who encouraged our love of Twitter and Facebook.
At this Luncheon Largest Mixer® gave away two tickets to the LA Mixer via the raffle. Congratulations to the winner Mark Logan of fbe Spa. And Congratulations also goes to Miracle Mile Chamber of Commerce for a great lunch!

West LA Chamber's First Wednesday Breakfast

At Largest Mixer we like to attend as many community events as possible, so we were also at West LA Chamber's First Wednesday Breakfast this morning at The Olympic Collection.

The Law Office of Charles Rosenberg and The Farmacy, Susan Leahy were sponsors. New Tang Dynasty Television's Vision and Purpose, a non-profit that broadcasts uncensored programming into China, was featured.
The great thing about this breakfast was rotating spots to meet others at different tables. A great idea and a great breakfast! Thanks again to the West LA Chamber.

Ontario Chamber Hosts Breakfast with Police Chief Eric Hopley

We woke up early and excited to attend Ontario Chamber's Breakfast Speaker Series at the Doubletree Hotel this morning. The Guest was Ontario Police Chief Eric Hopley, who discussed Ontario's 13% decrease in crime and how the Police Department is helping to better the Ontario community.
The breakfast was a great spread, but more important was the opportunity to meet new folks and see other Largest Mixer® friends. Notably in attendance were Mayor Paul Leon, seen here with Mike Rais and Mark Smith.
Also in attendance was City Manager Chris Hughes, as well as Neale Perkins, and Chamber Chairman of the Board Cindy Carpenter. It was a great thing to see the leadership of Ontario up early and in support of local business owners and community members.
Many thanks to Bae Systems and Safariland for sponsoring the event, Bassam Shahin at the Doubletree for hosting, and big congratulations to Ontario Chamber for another successful breakfast!

Hollywood Business Expo Shows off the Glitz and Glamour of the Chamber

The Hollywood Chamber hosted it's annual Hollywood Expo Thursday, April 2, at the Hilton Universal Hotel.
Some of the best restaurants in Los Angeles showcased a great variety of cuisines for all tastes. Of those present were Mel's Drive-in, Morton's Steakhouse, and a Largest Mixer® favorite, Village Pizzeria.

Even a few familiar Largest Mixer® participants were there. It was great to once again run into AT&T Advertising Solutions, US Census Bureau, and Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge, all of whom exhibited at OC's Largest Mixer® on March 24.

We would love to congratulate Kaylee Kiecker for throwing a successful event!
