Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce Flying High at the Trapeze School on the Santa Monica Pier

The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce was flying high last night for its May business mixer at the Trapeze School on the Santa Monica Pier (which by the way will celebrate its Centennial on September 9!)

The Trapeze School is dedicated to making flying trapeze available to anyone who seeks inspiration, challenge, fitness or just a couple hours of unique fun. Their mission is to create a safe, fun, challenging environment where their students strive to surpass limitations and more richly enjoy their lives.

Amongst the 75 attendees, we mixed and mingled with Maisha Hart of LP Staffing/Legal Plus Agency, Ben Franz-Knight of the Santa Monica Pier, and Richard Clayman of Cloudwalker Videoworks.

Whole Foods Market was on hand with a delectable cheese platter, antipasto, fresh fruit and veggies.

Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce's Business 2 Business Surf City Connection

The Business 2 Business Surf City Connection hosted by the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce was held this evening at the beautiful Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort.   Almost 100 exhibitors mix and mingled with local business business professionals while they sampled delicious food from many Huntington Beach local eateries.

While we were at the expo, we bumped into past Largest Mixer exhibitors Biz Calling Cards, Fresca's Mexican Grill, Home Run SignWorks, NuVision Federal Credit Union, and Time Warner Cable Business Services.

Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce's 26th Annual Clean-Up Day, Go Green Showcase, and E-Waste Collection

Largest Mixer staff joined the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce for its 26th Annual Clean-Up Day, Go Green Showcase, and E-Waste Collection this past Saturday at The Church on the Way in Van Nuys.  

Supplied with rakes, hoes, brooms, and trash bags, over 100 volunteers proved that “every little bit helps” in keeping the area clean and fresh.  Contributors including Keyes Motors, WalMart, Metro, Priority One Credit Union, Los Angeles World Airports-Van Nuys and Mission Community Hospital joined Go Green! Showcase exhibitors Breathe - Los Angeles, Allied Waste Services, Athens Services and more as volunteers enjoyed the Carl's Jr. catering truck following the "clean-up."

Los Angeles Area Chamber Partners with Armenian Chamber at Junior Achievement of Southern California

Last night, the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Armenian Chamber of Commerce, gave members a great chance to network and socialize with business professionals from all over the Los Angeles area at the Junior Achievement of Southern California's Mike Curb Free Enterprise Center for Finance Park in Los Angeles.

Junior Achievement is Southern California’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. 

Over 100 attendees mixed and mingled while enjoy the fine Italian cuisine of Maria Italian Kitchen while enjoying tabletop exhibits from the Los Angeles Clippers, Blackberry, New York Life and IconBlue.

Annual Orange County Business Networking Mixer/Expo Increases in Number of Exhibitors and Attendees Over Prior Year

The 6th annual Orange County's Largest Mixer drew nearly 3,500 participants, a 15 percent increase from 2008, in what many consider the most well attended networking event in the region. Over 340 businesses exhibited in various industries ranging from finance to hospitality, education to media. The event was held March 11, 2009 at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California.

Magnificent Mardi Gras Business Expo hosted by the Whittier Chamber of Commerce.

The Largest Mixer attended the Whittier Chamber "Mardi Gras Expo" held at the Whittier Radisson Hotel. As soon as you walked in, you felt as if you had walked out of Southern California and straight into New Orleans!  With beads being streamed around our neck, the Largest Mixer went into action. With over 120 businesses on display in 3 different areas, you didn't know where to start!

First, RMH Dance Sport Center took us off our feet with a free salsa dancing lesson. Then, away we went to the Mission Court Salon & Spa where they were giving away 10-minute massages given by Mark Villalobos. If that didn't get you going, we stopped by Cio Italia Panni Grill where we dined on some of his delicious pannis. We also talked with Gabriel Gastelum of Gabriel Plumbing, Martha Bonilla of PALS, Pamela Rivera of The Traveling Traveler, Deborah Duran-Wade of Rio Hondo College, Mona Quiroz of Access to Travel, Mike Wilson of Harrison Electric, and Benjamin Pongetti of City of Whittier.

Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce Monthly Mixer held at the breath taking Back Bay Bistro located at the Newport Dunes.

The Largest Mixer attended Newport Beach Chamber's monthly mixer last night, held at the beautifully renovated Back Bay Bistro. As the sun was setting, you were able to view 180 degrees of the bay, and with shrimp and mashed potatoes on the menu it was the start to something great. Let the mixing begain.
